    public-log

The Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) is an autonomous body that provides round-the-clock free ambulance services for accident and trauma victims. It launched its ambulance service in March 1991 with 14 ambulances. Today, it operates a large fleet of ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances, integrated with a GPS-based control system and connected to the Police Control Room and Delhi Fire Service. Its objectives include rapid response to emergencies, first aid at accident sites, safe patient transport, and public first-aid training. CATS plays a critical role in Delhi’s emergency medical response system.
